Biography

My name is Tsogo Kupa, and I’m an internationally award-winning filmmaker and writer based in Johannesburg, South Africa. I currently work as the Head of Post-Production at Uhuru Productions and as a Contributing Editor for Africa is a Country.

Ethos

My passion for visual storytelling is underscored by a belief that images are the most influential way people can connect with a feeling or experience beyond their own lives. In my practice as a visual storyteller, I strive to take on the responsibility of fostering empathy, promoting care, and bringing imagination to life.
